SOZO's primary objective is to support Zimbabwean organisations that care for orphans and vulnerable children; providing human, financial and material resources to develop their work.
Zimbabwe has been ravaged by internal strife, poverty, hunger and disease. The proportion of adults infected by HIV/AIDS in Zimbabwe is currently one of the highest in the world. As a consequence, the country has experienced a dramatic increase in the number of orphan and vulnerable children, many others have been victims of the political violence.
